This is an interesting article re-affirming the idea that the weakest Cybersecurity link in any organization is the human one. By far the main contributing factor in the vast majority of successful Cybercrime breaches has a human element to it (80+ %). Good awareness training can bring that risk factor down dramatically and builds a “Human Firewall” for your business. The problem with traditional training is that it tends to be a checkoff item and once trained, soon forgotten. This is not going to work as it only takes one employee to make a mistake and unleash a Cyberattack on your company!

What we mean by “good training” is one that is continuous over the year, that keeps adapting to the needs of the individual and how they are learning as well as the ever changing landscape of new Cyber attacks. Therefore, they are constantly being assessed on how they are improving and the training is adjusted based on what they need to learn. It needs to be fun, and the content and its delivery, need to be varied and memorable. This is what you should be looking for in a good Security Awareness Program.

JAAG partners with KnowBe4 for its Security Awareness Training content and platform, with over 50K organizations globally using this platform, and the content is kept up to date and multi-lingual.
